Canon Club

One of our longest-running discussion groups, Canon Club reads the work of Shakespeare and work inspired by Shakespeare's plays.

Throughout the year, Canon Club will consider work that aligns with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's performance schedule. All discussions are led by Xavier University professor Dr. Niamh O'Leary.

The reading schedule for 2026 is:

• January 21: The Great White Bard
• February 25: Othello
• April 22: Pericles
• June 17: Hamnet
• August 19: Movie Night in the Stacks
• September 16: Much Ado About Nothing
• November 18: TBD
