This group reads “music books” that encompass memoirs, biographies, novels that feature music and those involved with it as a subject, collections of short stories written by musicians, books that look critically or historically at music’s cultural impact, and more.

Here's what the group is reading this spring:

  • April 20: Lucinda Williams' Don't Tell Anybody the Secrets I told You
  • May 18: Sly Stone's Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)
  • June 15: Warren Zanes' Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska

Steven Rosen, the group’s organizer, is a co-founder of Cincinnati Vinyl Club and former arts editor at Cincinnati CityBeat. He is also the author of Lost Cincinnati Concert Venues of the ’50s and ’60s: From the Surf Club to Ludlow Garage

For more information, contact Steven directly via email. While the Library is closed for construction, group meetings are at rotating locations around Cincinnati.

Free and open to the public. This group meets in person the third Saturday of every month, with some exceptions.
