One of our longest-running discussion groups, Canon Club reads the work of Shakespeare and work inspired by Shakespeare's plays.

Having seen a production of Caesar at our January movie night and, hopefully, the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s production (running March 1-23), we’ll engage in discussion about the text.

Did you know that Caesar was the first Shakespeare text to enter American classrooms? It was, and not as a literary text, but a rhetorical one! We can delve into the competing funeral orations and recreate classroom exercises of the 16th to 21st centuries together.

If you registered for the 2024 Season, you do not need to re-register for single sessions.
